Intrinsically Safe

Standard work lighting, however tough, isn't automatically safe around explosive gases, vapours, or combustible dust. Ledlenser's EX and iL series carry ATEX and IECEx certification for exactly those environments, meeting the strict requirements set for gas and dust groups IIC and IIIC.

The two series cover different zones. EX Series products are rated for Zone 0/20 or Zone 1/21, the higher-risk classifications. The iL Series covers Zone 2/22, for areas where hazardous atmospheres are less likely but still possible. Each product page lists the specific zone, gas and dust classification that model is certified for.
