What makes the MH8 so great is not just the impressive brightness and beam range you’ve come to expect from Ledlenser, but the incredible versatility the design team have incorporated into this headlamp.

Use it as a headlamp or as a handheld light thanks to the removable lamp head.

Run your headlamp either on the included lithium-ion rechargeable battery or on two standard AA batteries. The magnetic USB cable makes recharging a breeze.

Easily manage your battery life by choosing either the energy saving or constant current modes with five illumination options – high, medium, low, boost or blink.

Included is the standout Ledlenser technology of Advanced Focus System with seamless transition between broad floodlight and long-distance spot beam, transportation lock, and stepless tilting of the headlamp.

Usually things improve with time, just not led lensesr apparently.
The one got 15 years ago is actually deadly and still reliable, anything iv had since, the quality is poor and the straps rubbish for sliding off your dome, we got several smaller models issued through work all the clips broke over and over, yes you kept repairing them but for the cost just make a decent product.
Recently given an MH8 (my vintage edition was copping a mocking) as a gift and the strap keeps slipping off your head, you would'nt dare take for a night spear or a duck shoot it would end up in the drink. Its not even up to locking away the chooks unless you enjoy putting down what your hold to constantly adjust the strap.

Hi Kylie,
Sorry to hear about your experiences. We did have an issue a while back with the clips on a particular model, but we always resolved this for the customer and the design was subsequently updated. The strap issue isn't something that I have come across before, so potentially you have a faulty one. We are happy to send you a replacement strap to try. Please email admin@ledlenser.co.nz
